This is painting No.147 entitled, "School Photograph" on a 24"x24" canvas which i completed today (July 12th 2010).Here i have attempted to capture the reality of the typical school photograph.The twisted,miserable expressions an indication of what is really being felt beneath the skin.Everybody involved appears disinterested, including the teacher,despite the insincere smiles which often appear on such pictures.They have bright and positively coloured shoes, indicating their collective desire to leave as soon as possible.Sold to Tonbridge,Kent,England.
