No.43 The Alamo

This is painting No.43 entitled, "The Alamo" painted in May 2009.I like the fact the building looks golden, as it was viciously and infamously fought over in 1836.The fiery sky beautifully yet tragically relates to patriotic burning passion the outnumbered Texans possessed, not to mention it's a hint at the huge funeral pyre upon which all of the massacred texans were burned on at the scene (Including Davey Crockett).Most appropriately, this was sold on ebay to San Antonio,Texas,USA the location of The Alamo itself.
