This is painting No.44 entitled, "Dover Castle" painted in May 2009.I felt i had been neglecting Kent areas, motivating me to paint the castle.I am always fascinated by the fact that the burning sky is always appropriate no matter what you paint, it brings to my mind for me, the dreadful aerial explosions of countless aircraft over the area during the Battle of Britain.This was sold on ebay to Norfolk,England.
