No.115 Portland Lighthouse

This is painting No.115 entitled, "Dusk at Portland Lighthouse" and is of the lighthouse in Dorset,England.I began painting this yesterday evening whilst listening to the self titled album by Alice in Chains.I then watched the film,"Dorian Gray" Starring Colin Firth and Ben Barnes.Then this morning after taking my son to school,Eating egg on toast, i ventured up to my painting room and finished it whilst listening to the album "Reise,Reise" by Rammstein.

No.114 Bran Castle

This is painting No.114 entitled, "Dusk at Bran Castle,Romania" which i finished painting this evening whilst listening to the R.E.M album, "Automatic for The People".This is the legendary Dracula's castle, and i began painting it several days ago whilst listening to a Rammstein album called "Sensucht" this German band gave me the apt eastern european flavour whilst conjuring this image.

No.113 Time Ball Tower

This is painting No.113 entitled, "The Time Ball Tower in Fiery Sky" and is of the tower in my home town of Deal,Kent.It features on a 30x40 cm canvas and i began painting this Wednesday evening whilst listening to The Red Hot Chili Peppers album, "Blood Sugar Sex Magick".Then last night after consuming a bowl of Nesquik Chocolate balls cereal, i completed whilst listening to Coal Chamber's "Giving the Devil his Due".These heavy albums aimed at malcontent teenagers are fabulous to paint to,really full of confusion and distress, perfect for splashing paint.Sold.

No.112 Wandsworth Prison

This is painting No.112 entitled, "Wandsworth Prison near Dark" which i finished today.It was in this prison situated in London,England that John George Haigh,"The Acid Bath Killer" was hanged in 1949.This is a 30x40cm canvas,unlike the 12x12 inch canvas i used on my previous four paintings.I began this the night before last, whilst listening to the Nirvana album,"Bleach" i then sat and watched the film,"Sin City" Starring Bruce Willis and the late Brittany Murphy.Then yesterday, after dropping my son off to school in the icy weather i painted more whilst listening to the Marilyn Manson album, "Smells Like Children".And finally today,after eating a fabulous cooked breakfast with my parents at their house,i completed it whilst i listening to "The Best of Beethoven".Obviously Symphony No.5 is great to paint to.This was sold on ebay to London,England.

No.111 Neath Castle

This is painting No.111 entitled, "Neath Castle in Fiery Sky".This castle situated in Wales,Britain appears to be little more than a ruin.I began painting it the day before yeaterday, after walking my son to school in the horrendous snow.I painted the first part of this in silence which was a pleasant change for me.Then in the evening i watched an episode of "Lois & Clark The Adventures of Superman" Starring Teri Hatcher, the episode was called "I've got a crush on you".I then watched a film called "The Good Night" Starring Simon Pegg,Martin Freeman and Penelope Cruz.Then yeaterday i completed the painting after eating a chinese takeaway,i ventured up to my painting room and put on the album "The Downward Spiral" by Nine Inch Nails and finished it.This was sold on ebay to Swansea,Wales.

No.110 Lizard Lighthouse

This is painting No.110 entitled, "Sunset at Lizard Lighthouse" of the lighthouse in Cornwall,England.I began painting this the night before last, whilst listening to Slipknot's self titled album.And then last night i came home in the heavy,magical snow in a taxi (Jack's cars, my local firm) and then got changed into my painting clothes,quickly consumed a Muller "Crunch Corner" yoghurt and then finished the piece whilst listening to "The Best of Jimi Hendrix" on cd.This was sold on ebay to Northamptonshire,England.

No.109 Sarre Windmill

This is painting No.109 entitled, "Dusk at Sarre Windmill".I performed at this windmill in Kent,England in a musical duo with my Dad and we were called "The Men in White Coats" (We actually wore white medical coats!!).I began painting this the night before last whilst listening to "Kurt's Choice" a compilation cd released by NME music magazine which includes "Touch me i'm sick" by Mudhoney and "Louie,Louie" by Iggy Pop.I then went downstairs and watched a couple of episodes of the american tv series "Heroes", one episode was called "Shades of Gray" (Series 3).Then last night i completed it whilst listening to the album, "Celebrity Skin" by Hole.My painting room is so cold i can see my own Breath !!This was sold on ebay to Hampshire,England.

No.108 Eggborough Power Station

This is painting No.108 entitled, "Eggborough Power Station" which is situated in the east riding of Yorkshire in England.I began painting this yesterday afternoon after promptly eating cheese on toast.In the evening i watched the televised Doctor Who episode, "The End of Time" (Part Two) which saw the final episode for actor David Tennant.Then i went upstairs and completed it whilst listening to the Nirvana album, "In Utero".This was sold to ebay to West Yorkshire,England.
